Two seriously cool arts festivals are coming up in Birmingham.
Cinema lovers should check out Flatpack Festival. Described by The Independent as, "The country's most creatively curated film festival" it's a wonderful, eclectic festival. Flatpack runs from 14th-18th March.
Fierce, the city's international festival of live art and performance, runs from March 29th-April 8th. We're intrigued by some of the pieces exploring the highs and lows of love; embark on an emotional Berlin Love Tour on the streets of Birmingham or take part in Uninvited Guests' Love Letters Straight From Your Heart (fresh from a sell-out run at London's Southbank Centre) in which love song dedications from the audience are woven into the performance.
The team from Visit England, the national tourist board, came to Birmingham and their report of the trip features none other than Staying Cool at the Rotunda.
On Birmingham itself, Visit England says, "While thousands whizz straight past Britain's second city every hour, on their way north or south, they're missing out on some fabulous shopping, delicious food - and cutting edge contemporary art."
We couldn't agree more!

""..the Rotunda is superbly located bang in the city centre with New Street and the famous Christmas market less than 20ft from our door – perfect for dropping off those heavy shopping bags."" North Devon Journal
"Self catering couldn't be more groovy." The Telegraph's Stella magazine
"Only one thing could possibly top the stylish design-led interiors at Staying Cool, and that’s the views..." Elle online
