Nativity Trail28 November 2012

The wonderful (and free!) Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery launches its Nativity Art Trail  at 2pm on Friday, 30th November.

From a 16th-century enamel to Pre-Raphaelite favourites, the Nativity Art Trail offers the chance to view the Christmas Story through 500 years of art.

The trail features favourites such as  The Star of Bethlehem by Edward Burne-Jones and a stained glass window made for the Methodist Chapel in Cradley Heath. It  runs until January 6th.

You can also visit Father Christmas in his grotto at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.  

BBC Good Food Show27 November 2012

The BBC Good Food Show starts at the NEC tomorrow and runs until Sunday, December 2nd.

The show can be reached easily by train from central Birmingham and our apartments at the Rotunda. Trains to the NEC from Birmingham New Street take from 10-15 minutes.
