Birmingham is in full Christmas mode ! The Christmas lights are on, the Frankfurt Christmas Market is open and the Winter Skate ice rink and big wheel are working night and day. Combine all of that with an amazing array of high street and independent shops and it's a really great time to visit the city.
The Birmingham Hippodrome is the most popular single theatre in the UK selling over half a million tickets per year. It's a beautiful theatre made for a special night out and spending the weekend in Birmingham to take in a show could be much easier on your pocket than the West End.
