Clothes Show Live comes to Birmingham this December. This is the 25th year of what is called 'the ultimate girls' day out'.
We'd recommend staying over with us at the Rotunda after the show. You can reach the show at the NEC by train in under ten minutes from nearby New Street Station.
We always rate Jas Sansi's photography highly and his images of the 4 Squares Weekender really capture the sense of excitement in the city last weekend.
Coming to Birmingham for Grand Designs Live? You can enjoy 10% off stays with us at the Rotunda from October 3rd-7th, 2013. Check out the Grand Designs Live website for the booking code.

It's a very proud day for Birmingham as Malala Yousafzai, the teenager shot in the head in Pakistan for championing women's rights, has opened the city's new library.
The building, which to our delight features a series of rotundas, houses the largest lending library in Europe plus much more. You can enjoy a virtual tour courtesy of the BBC's arts editor, Will Gompertz.

Birmingham's new library opens next week (September
3rd), just minutes from our boutique apartments at the Rotunda.
It looks well worth a visit.
Fascinating fact: the new library - very contemporary in form - features the Shakespeare Memorial Room, built in 1882. This was originally part of the city's Victorian library, which closed in 1974.
"I liked the fact that all the food products were fairtrade/organic (excellent!). The flat was lovely, wish I had somewhere like that in London.." Kate Cater, Life & Style Editor, The Guardian
