The Birmingham Hippodrome is the most popular single theatre in the UK selling over half a million tickets per year. It's a beautiful theatre made for a special night out and spending the weekend in Birmingham to take in a show could be much easier on your pocket than the West End.
We are holding a flash sale in aid of the BBC's Children in Need charity. Until midnight on November 15th you can take 10% off prices at the Rotunda using code CIN2013. We will donate 5% of all sales using this code.
We love seeing films at Birmingham's independent cinema, The
Electric, and it's very close to the Rotunda.
Tickets are now on sale for the cinema's Christmas line up. The 2013 re-release of 'It's a Wonderful Life' runs from December 15th to Christmas Eve, but you can also enjoy 'Mary Poppins', 'Home Alone' and 'The Great Escape'.
Another successful proposal at the Rotunda this weekend! Congratulations to all concerned! Here's what The Independent made of romance at the Rotunda.

We loved the photos on this Victoria's Vintage blog post. Great shots of a MIni apartment at the Rotunda and Halloween fancy dress!
Did you know that we offer romantic breaks at the Rotunda? There will be champagne, chocolates and flowers in your gorgeous apartment on arrival. The next morning you can enjoy breakfast in the privacy of your apartment. Sunday departures also include a late check out.
It's time for the big Christmas Lights switch on and parade in Birmingham this Saturday! You can see the full schedule of events here
Considering coming to stay with us at the Rotunda with kids?

One for your diaries! The Guild of Jewellery Designers will be holding their second Contemporary Jewellery Exhibition in the Waterhall in Birmingham's Museum and Art Galleries, on 23rd November.
This is a selling event and just the place to pick up a unique and stylish piece of handmade British jewellery for a Christmas gift.
Coming to stay with us in Birmimgham? We'd recommend a visit to the Great Western Arcade, which is just a few minutes' walk from the Rotunda.
The Victorian arcade, refurbished four years ago, is a very elegant place to shop and home to a wide variety of shops many of which are independently owned (much like ourselves). Almost 40 businesses are based there including gems such as Hollingsworth Cigars - the second oldest tobacconist in the country.
