Flatpack Festival20 February 2013

The seventh Flatpack Festival takes place in Birmingham next month from 21-31st March.  

This film festival comes highly recommended with Time Out describing it as "magnificently eclectic".  

New Cafe at Ikon19 February 2013

The lovely folk at Opus restaurant are opening a new café at Ikon Gallery in Birmingham on February 26th. Cafe Opus  should definitely be worth a try.

 

Whisky Festival18 February 2013

If you appreciate 'the water of life' then Birmingham's first ever large-scale whisky (and whiskey) festival, WhiskyBirmingham, could be for you.

It takes place on Saturday, March 2nd.

Wine + Film18 February 2013

If you are staying with us tomorrow night (Feb 26th) at the Rotunda then we have a recommendation for you. The wonderful Electric Cinema is holding a French Kiss wine tasting

The film is a comedy from 1995 starring Meg Ryan (at her romcom zenith) Kevin Kline and Jean Reno. The accompanying wine is courtesy of the Wine Tasting Company.

A small number of tickets were still available at the time of writing, but please book in advance.

Looking for Love?14 February 2013

We love the beautiful Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, which is based only a few minutes' walk from the Rotunda. And, on February 15th, you might be able to find love there at their Single's Night.

The event includes gallery tours, music and ice breakers, costs £10 and can be booked online.
