Jamaican Extravaganza22 July 2012

On Wednesday, July 25th, a Jamaican extravaganza will take place at Symphony Hall. The concert looks really excitiing and the Jamaican National Athletic team will be in attendance. 

Performing on the night will be Musical Youth, Benjamin Zephaniah, Jamelia, Jimmy James, Jaki Graham, Count Prince Miller, Abigail Kelly, five times world karate champion Eugene Codington, Jackie Guy, Carlton Curtis, Skibu, Horizon Youth Choir, Brothers United in Christ Choir, and surprise guest artists.

We were excited to see that Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is hosting the largest ever touring exhibition of Egyptian artefacts in the UK on loan from The British Museum. 

Over 130 British Museum objects are featured in thePharoah: King of Egypt exhibition from monumental sculptures to intimate items of gold jewellery.

The exhibition runs until October 14, 2012.
