Birmingham's Rotunda needs no introduction. The cylindrical icon has defined the city's skyline for the past four decades. The building has just been stunningly refurbished and our apartments on the top two floors are its crowning glory.
Each radiates from the centre of the building, creating a circle of different sized Trivial Pursuit style wedges.
The apartments come in four sizes - small, medium, large and extra large. Each one is individually styled with original artwork and specially commissioned furniture.
Our Maxis on the 19th floor have two bedrooms, each with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. Lounges are spacious and comfortable with a separate dining table and desk. A wall of floor to ceiling glass gives you great views of Birmingham life... and French windows that open fully at 75 metres up make it all that little bit more thrilling.
Design-wise, we've combined contemporary cool with swinging sixties style. The lounge features a stylish sofa by fab Brit furniture team, NaughtOne, in grey felt with bespoke coloured stitching as well as Pierre Paulin's distinctive 1960's Oyster chairs.
Furniture designer of the moment, Lou Rota, has produced Staying Cool versions of her Polymorph chair - an environmentally friendly re-work of the sixties Robin Day classic.
We've also commissioned a series of fashion photos that invoke the decade to hang (large) on the walls. Lighting is by Tom Dixon and Artemide.
There's nothing retro about the sleek Poggenpohl kitchens, the pristine white bathrooms or state-of-the-art Apple computers. iPod docks and beautiful Baby Gaggia espresso makers complete the contemporary look. Beds are king size and mattresses are pocket sprung with memory foam; they are called the Ultimate and you'll know why in the morning!
It's not just the apartments that have the wow factor - the new entrance to the Rotunda has more than just a touch of swish New York hotel style to it.
Upstairs, the large circular lobbies with poured resin floors are pretty impressive too.
And with Selfridges as your corner shop and New Street station a two minute walk away, you know you are perfectly centrally located.
Once again w e've been working with our favourite developer, Urban Splash, who has lovingly restored the building - a former office block - over the past two and a half years. Urban Splash design with Staying Cool style.
We're also helping Urban Splash to run the building's concierge service so you'll more-than-likely meet one of us when you check in too.
