Birmingham's Rotunda needs no introduction. The cylindrical icon has defined the city's skyline for the past four decades. The building has just been stunningly refurbished and this apartment is on the top (20th) floor.
It radiates from the centre of the building, creating a large Trivial Pursuit style wedge shaped apartment.
Our Roadster penthouse (top-of-the-range soft top) has two bedrooms, each with and an en suite bathroom. Beds are king size and mattresses are pocket sprung with memory foam; they are called the Ultimate and you'll know why in the morning!
The lounges is spacious and comfortable with an open plan kitchen. A wall of floor to ceiling glass gives you great views of Birmingham life... as well as the large open air balcony that runs the length of the apartment.
Design-wise, we've combined contemporary cool with swinging sixties style. The lounge features a bespoke stylish sofa by fab Brit furniture team, NaughtOne, as well as Pierre Paulin's distinctive 1960's Oyster chairs.
Furniture designer of the moment, Lou Rota, has produced Staying Cool versions of her Polymorph chair - an environmentally friendly re-work of the sixties Robin Day classic.
We've also commissioned a series of fashion photos that invoke the decade to hang (large) on the walls. Lighting is by Tom Dixon and Artemide.
There's nothing retro about the sleek Poggenpohl kitchen, the pristine white bathrooms or state-of-the-art Apple computer. An iPod dock and beautiful Baby Gaggia espresso maker completes the contemporary look.
It's not just the apartment that has the wow factor - the new entrance to the Rotunda has more than just a touch of swish New York hotel style to it.
Upstairs, the large circular lobbies with poured resin floors are pretty impressive too.
And with Selfridges as your corner shop and New Street station a two minute walk away, you know you are perfectly centrally located.
Once again we've been working with our favourite developer, Urban Splash, who has lovingly restored the building - a former office block - over the past two and a half years. Urban Splash design with Staying Cool style.
We're also helping Urban Splash to run the building's concierge service so you'll more-than-likely meet one of us when you check in too.
