About Rotunda
Our 26 serviced apartments in Birmingham form a small, boutique-style Apart Hotel on the top four floors of the iconic Rotunda - a rare, grade II listed architectural stunner in the heart of the city centre. This is the place to choose for business or pleasure.
Stay
The Rotunda is a striking glass tube stretching up into the sky. Our apartments come in four sizes - studios, one beds, two beds and two-bed penthouses. Each one is individually styled with original artwork and bespoke furniture. We named them after the famous cars made down the road at Longbridge: Minis, Clubmans, Maxis and Roadsters.
All apartments radiate out from a central, circular lobby. To get an idea of the shapes, think of delicious slices of tarte tatin with the pointy ends nibbled off. Tasty.
Every apartment has floor-to-ceiling glass in place of an external wall. Huge French windows, that open fully, bring the outdoors in and give magnificent views over the city. A waist-height barrier keeps you safe without spoiling the views. (If heights make you go all peculiar, look at the Clubman Cabriolet on the second floor.)
Design-wise, we've combined contemporary cool with swinging sixties style. Enjoy well-equipped Poggenpohl kitchens, smart white bathrooms and Apple computers. Gaggia or Francis Francis espresso makers and iPod docks complete the look.
Sleep
Your comfort is our concern. Beds are king size and mattresses are pocket sprung with memory foam; they are called the Ultimate and you'll understand why. We also take good bedding to heart. Every apartment has a relaxing living area.
Eat
We've put some serious thought into food. If you want to cook for yourself we've provided basics such as balsamic, olive oil, pepper and sea salt. You'll also have everything you need for a nice cup of tea and a sit down. You can also order food and drink such as our organic breakfasts. All apartments come with complimentary Dorset Cereals.
But sometimes it's good to forget cooking. We give all guests a Gastro discount card and can recommend our favourite restaurants.
