Port Dinner Winner24 October 2013

The winner of our Port Dinner competition was Theresa Cooke. Theresa and her guest will enjoy a four-course meal with wine courtesy at Opus at Cornwall Street in Birmingham followed by a stay with us at the Rotunda.

The Port Dinner is being hosted by Sophia Bergqvist of the Quinta de la Rosa estate in Portugal. Her family has been making port since 1815, and red wine since the early 1990's.

The dinner costs  £65 per person including 4 course dinner, wines, service and VAT.

We've launched a competition in partnership with one of our favourite Birmingham restaurants - Opus in Cornwall Street.


Our winner will receive two tickets for the four-course  Port Dinner with wines at Opus next month - on sale at £65 each - plus a night with us at the Rotunda in a Mini apartment.

Christmas Market11 October 2013

Next month, the Frankfurt Christmas Market opens again in Birmingham. And it really does lend a delightful Christmasssy atmosphere to the city centre. The Rotunda is the perfect place to stay to enjoy gluhwein and shopping.

The market runs from the 14th November to the 22nd December.
