VisitBirmingham has put together a summer city guide to all things foodie called BirmingYUM. Well worth checking out!
We're all very excited about Manchester International Festival, which starts today. The festival will bring 18 days of cutting-edge culture to the city including Massive Attack v Adam Curtis and Branagh's Macbeth.
Did you know that there's an outdoor film festival in
Birmingham? It's a really fun, free event and the public vote on
the schedule produces a line up of classic family films.
The Brindley Place Outdoor Film Festival runs from July 8th-July 14th.
The draw for our 'Win Your Stay for Free' competition just took place. One person who booked online last month could win their stay for free.

Many congratulations, Chloe!

We are fans of Birmingham's fabulous indie cinema, The Electric, especially when one of its wine tasting events is coming up. At next month's Shock and Gore wine tasting you can see Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula whilst enjoying some delicious reds with an Eastern European bias!
If you would like to explore Birmingham's alternative side then
we'd highly recommend a stroll down to The Custard Factory.
This creative hub has some seriously hip kit from independent retailers on offer and also hosts events with exhibitions, theatre and an art-house film club.
Did you know that when you stay with us in Birmingham you get a
free Gastro Card to use?
The Gastro Card gives you discounts at more than 80 of the city's restaurants at last count including Staying Cool favourites such as Loves, Asha's and Opus.
Great to see that our Mini apartments at the Rotunda made it into Easy Living magazine's 100 Hip Hotels Under £100 line up. Our Minis are in great company and we'd love to spend the next few months working our way through them...
""..the Rotunda is superbly located bang in the city centre with New Street and the famous Christmas market less than 20ft from our door – perfect for dropping off those heavy shopping bags."" North Devon Journal
"Self catering couldn't be more groovy." The Telegraph's Stella magazine
""..our apartment was equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, replete with oranges for juicing, a juicer, coffee grounds for grinding, a coffee machine, and the most swaggy open-plan living room, framed by a seemingly endless view..."" Wonderland Magazine
