Big Rise In BMAG Visitors

Main Image
We're delighted to see that the visitor figures for BMAG (Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery) shot up last year. BMAG is one of Birmingham's cultural gems and is just a few minute's walk from our Rotunda apartments. We love to go there (and our MD is also a trustee for BMAG).

The Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA) has released visitor figure results and BMAG's 2018 visitor numbers increased by 38% on 2017. 2018 saw exhibitions such as Dippy on Tour, the Staffordshire Hoard helmet reconstruction, plus Women Power Protest. The BMAG team are hoping for another very good year in 2019: BMAG's Leonardo da Vinci exhibition has already hit 50,000 visitors since it opened on 1st Feb.

Even if you don't have time to visit the exhibits when you're in Birmingham, we'd recommend stopping for a cup of tea at BMAG's elegant Edwardian Tea Rooms and appreciating BMAG's architecture en route.
