Before your stay

Check-in online

To ensure we comply with the government’s NHS Test and Trace system for Coronavirus we need you to complete any missing information. You can add details directly using the on-line check-in invitation email you will have received or the Add your info button on your booking confirmation email. Please check all fields are complete and do get in touch if you have any problems.

Organised a surprise?

If you have organised a surprise visit for someone then please only enter your email address in the contact email field otherwise your guest will receive a copy of the booking confirmation and ruin the surprise!

Travelling with children?

If you are travelling with children then let us know their ages so we can provide a complimentary welcome Cool for Kids gift.

Getting here

By train: Rotunda is right next to the Bullring Shopping Centre – a 3 minute walk from both New Street and Moor Street train stations. 

By car: We offer discounted parking at the Bullring’s car park – the closest being the Centre car park (SatNav code: B5 4BU). Parking costs £15 per night compared to the standard £25 for 8+ hours. This offer gives you one exit from the car park per night of your stay. If you need to exit more than once then you will benefit from 25% off the prevailing short stay rate. There is no need to pre-book, you’ll simply need to swap your entry ticket with us on arrival.

What to bring with you

ID: your driving licence or passport
Debit or credit card that you used to pay: we take your deposit from the same card
Face mask: we politely ask that you wear this in communal areas.


24 Flexible Rate: We will take your room payment at 12 noon, 24 hours prior to your stay – you must bring the same payment card with you to check-in. At reception we will only take your stay deposit via chip and pin. 

Pay Now: There’s nothing more to do. You will have paid when you made your booking.

We take a security deposit which is processed as a preauthorisation of your credit/debit card. No monies are taken in advance and the pre-authorisation is released on check-out day. The amount depends on your apartment type.
• Mini/Clubman £125 – £250 
• Maxi/Penthouse: same as your booking rate with a minimum of £250 and a maximum of £500.


Your apartment will be ready at 3pm. Concierge check-in is open until 10pm thereafter you will be checked in by the Security team. If you are planning to arrive for your stay at Rotunda after 10pm, please get in touch so we can ensure a smooth late night arrival.

When you arrive at reception we will have your sanitised keys ready for you in a sanitised container. We will take any outstanding payments by chip and pin (the machine will be cleaned before and after we ask you to pop in your card) and we’ll scan your ID from above so we don’t need to touch it.


We can store your luggage for you at reception if your arrive early or want to collect it after having checked out.

We’ve taken extra measures to protect against COVID 19. More detailed information is available in our accreditation from Visit England and iSAAP.

Apartment supplies

We’ll prepare your apartment prior to arrival based on the number of guests staying overnight, for example, if you are travelling alone, we’ll set the apartment for one person. However, if you do run out of anything please do request more during concierge hours (8am to 10pm).

We will be wearing face masks (unless a team member is exempt) when we move around the building to clean apartments.

Face-coverings and PPE

The Staying Cool Guest Relations team is on the desk from 8am to 10pm daily. If you need to speak to one of us outside of these hours our out of hours call service will help you. Our contact number is 0121 285 1250.

Rotunda reception

Only those staying overnight will be given access to the building. – we have strict anti-partying and anti-smoking rules.

The apartment is all yours until 12 noon on departure day. When you’re ready to leave, just leave your keys with a team member on reception.


Your deposit pre-auth will be returned to the card that you used to pay with so we don’t need to see your card again. The hold on the card will be released within 0-5 working days, depending on your bank’s own policy.

We offer all our repeat guests a 10% discount on their second, third or hundredth stays when you book via our website. The more you stay, the more we like to treat you! We will email you this after your first stay.

Staying again

We offer all returning guests a 10% discount when you book direct – either via this website (we’ll email you the promo code when you check out) or email us and we’ll make the booking for you.
