We try to work with local suppliers to bring you organic, free range, locally-procured or Fairtrade food and drink for your apartment.
Complimentary In-apartment supplies
Tea & hot chocolate
Please help yourself to the complimentary tea and coffee in your apartment.
You will find hot chocolate and both breakfast and green teas in containers on the work surface in the kitchen.
You’ll find a pint of milk in your fridge. Our fresh milk is locally produced on a farm between Birmingham and Coventry. Ideally, we would have an organic local supplier but such a product doesn’t exist yet. If you run out of anything, just ask at reception and we’ll re-stock your fridge.
Illy espresso machine & filter coffee
Good coffee makes a great start to the day. That’s why every apartment has a Francis Francis Y3 Espresso Maker with illy coffee pods.
The instructions are on a sheet next to the espresso machine. Don’t forget to switch it on at the wall and flick the little switch at the side of the machine.
We also provide Bodum milk frothers for those who love a cappuccino or latte. If you prefer an americano mix your espresso with slightly cooled boiled water so as not to burn the coffee.
If filter coffee is more your thing, we work with local coffee roasters Quarter Horse to bring you fresh ground coffee for your cafetière. You’ll find both next to the espresso machine ready for brewing.
In a hurry? Eco takeaway cups and lids are provided if you need your coffee to go.
You’ll find oranges and grapefruit in the fridge, which we think make a great combo for a great glass of chilled juice.
- Plug in the electric juicer
- Halve your oranges and grapefruit
- Gently press the halves down on the juicer
Just a word about the oranges and grapefuit. We select them especially for juicing so while they may not look the prettiest or feel the firmest they do make good juice.
We try to avoid waste so we choose regular deliveries and dont put too many in your fridge at once. If you would like more during your stay (they’re free!) just let us know. And if you know you aren’t going to use them let us know that too.
A few kitchen essentials
You will find cold-pressed rapeseed oil and balsamic vinegar next to the hob along with sea salt and black pepper grinders for seasoning. Just a few kitchen essentials incase you fancy cooking up a storm during your stay.
Feeling peckish but too comfy to move? Fear not, the Staying Cool tuck shop is here to save the day!
We’ve bundled together a few of our favourite snacks and refreshments from some small, independent suppliers, so you don’t have to move far to satisfy that sweet or savoury craving. Peruse the menu on the info card provided and help yourself. We’ll add the cost to your booking total when you depart.
As always, if there’s something from the tuck shop you really like and happen to run out of, contact one of our team on reception. They’ll arrange for stocks to be topped up, so you’ll be all set for a night in front of the telly.
Booking extra treats
Add food and drink for your apartment when booking or contact our guest relations team and avoid dashing to the shops as soon as you arrive! We’ve bundled together some of our favourite food combos below that we think you might like, but if there’s something specific you’re after, all you have to do is ask.
So we can source the very best ingredients, please book at least 24 hours before arrival and make us aware of any allergies that should be considered as part of your order.

We will happily order anything on your behalf for the price of the goods plus a £12 sourcing and delivery charge. Just ask at reception or contact us ahead of arrival.
Food and meal deliveries
We don’t have an in-house delivery service, but the Deliveroo website (or their app for iOS or Android) is probably the most reliable delivery service for food and drink for your apartment. It offers choices from 100+ local restaurants.
The delivery company will need to ring 123 on arrival at the external door and reception will then direct them up to your apartment.
Top tip: Insist that they park in the Rotunda’s loading bay and deliver to your door. Sometimes they cheekily try to make you go out to meet them!
