We are gutted to share the news that our planned apartment hotel in Manchester, Cotton Yard, will now not open as planned.
Our new project, which was already seriously delayed, has been hit by further Covid-related problems and decisions beyond our control. We can’t say much more than this at present pending the outcome of legal and other issues. But after conceiving the project, co-designing it and putting our hearts and souls into it for the best part of four years, not being able to open is a massive blow, especially after a year of Covid-19 hell.
Happily our Birmingham apartment hotel at the Rotunda is unaffected by this Manchester news and we are really enjoying welcoming all our lovely guests back there now that lockdown restrictions have eased.
We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has worked with us on the project or been following our Manchester story on Instagram and other socials, we really appreciate your interest and support. Hopefully we will open another hotel in the city in the future. In the meantime, come and see us in Birmingham or sunny Soller.
