The wheels are in motion for our new apartment hotel in Manchester – the Cotton Yard, coming early 2021
Our new Manchester apartment hotel will offer a mix of studios and suites over four floors in the existing building and eight duplex penthouses in a new two-storey rooftop extension. We will welcome our first guests in early 2021.
Buzzing with character and charm, this Mancunian warehouse on the corner of Canal Street and Chorlton Street is the perfect venue to host a Staying Cool landmark hotel. Once the site of Oliver Peyton’s avant-garde Mash & Air bar and restaurant – a favourite haunt of some of the Staying Cool team – this cornerstone of the city’s culture will be restored to its vibrant former glory.
Phil Burke, Chair of Village Licenced Businesses Association said: ‘We are really excited about bringing Staying Cool into the Village Quarter and reinvigorating this fantastic building for a new lease of life as a boutique apartment hotel.’’
