Our new Manchester Apartment Hotel Opening 2018
We have received planning consent for our new 40 unit serviced apartment hotel in Manchester to open in December next year.
The hotel is on the corner of Chorlton Street and Canal Street. We are going to regenerate a magnificent city centre building – a former cotton warehouse – that has been empty for several years and add a rooftop extension with duplex penthouses.
Our new apartment hotel will occupy the building's upper ground floor and the floors above . A separate operator for the lower ground floor restaurant/bar space (formerly View) is yet to be confirmed.

Once home to Oliver Peyton’s Mash & Air in the 1990s, the warehouse was acquired by the Cringle Corporation. In January this year, Staying Cool won a competitive tender, led by Nick Huddleston of CBRE, to find the right hotel or serviced apartment operator.The architects on the scheme are Halliday Meecham and Euan Kelly Property Solutions, the planning consultants. Staying Cool was advised by Tony Bray of Pure Real Estate Solutions.
